PICTURE PLAYBACK + DIRECTION

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Voice + Picture. Locked Together.

Dubbing is more than recording a clean voice. It's matching delivery to scene rhythm, lip movement, character emotion, and platform spec. Every line you record at our studio is timed against your video — never in isolation.

You bring the picture and the script (translated or original). We handle picture playback, talent direction, take selection, and the technical sync work. The output is dubbed audio that drops cleanly into your final cut.

info

How is this different from Voice Recording?

Voice Recording captures spoken-word into clean audio. Dubbing captures it to a video — with timing, lip-sync, scene cues, and director direction. Different chain, different workflow.

SYNC PROCESS

From Script to Final Sync

Six tracked stages. Every step protects timing, performance, and platform spec.

01 forum

Project Brief & Reference Intake

Share the video, script, target language, runtime, and platform. We review brand tone, character voices, and reference cues before booking the talent.

02 translate

Script & Adaptation Check

We review the translated/adapted script for line lengths, pacing, and lip-sync feasibility. Suggested tweaks come back to you within 24 hours.

03 schedule

Timing & Sync Planning

Markers, cue points, and scene rhythm noted against picture. The engineer prepares the session timeline so each line is ready to record in context.

04 movie

Performance to Picture

Talent steps into the booth, watches the picture loop, and records line by line. The director (you or our in-house director) gives notes between takes.

05 fact_check

Review & Correction Pass

Listen to comped takes against picture. Pickups happen the same day. Lip-sync, energy, and pronunciation get final approval before signoff.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Eight Things to Send Ahead

Share these 24–48 hours before your booking. The session runs faster, sync gets cleaner, and revisions drop.

movie

Final Video Reference

A locked cut (or the latest editor's version) in MP4 or MOV. Lower-res preview is fine — we use it for sync, not delivery.

description

Translated / Adapted Script

The dub script in your target language, with line numbers and time-codes if available.

language

Target Language & Variant

Hindi (formal vs colloquial?), Gujarati (Surti vs standard?), English (Indian vs neutral accent?). Specifics matter.

translate

Pronunciation Notes

Brand names, technical terms, and proper nouns flagged with phonetic spelling. Saves stop-and-go corrections in the booth.

star

Tone & Style Reference

A 1-line tone brief plus 1–2 reference clips. "Warm narration like Apple ads" or "Energetic like a sports promo."

Final Usage Platform

Where will this air? OTT? YouTube? Radio? TV? Each has different loudness specs we mix toward from the start.

Dubbing FAQs

What's the difference between Dubbing and Voice Recording? add
Voice Recording captures clean spoken audio (podcasts, narration, ads). Dubbing captures audio synced to a video — with picture playback, lip-sync direction, and timing markers. If your project has a video that the audio must match, you need dubbing.
What do I need to bring or send before the session? add
A locked or near-locked video, the translated/adapted script, target language preferences, pronunciation notes, tone references, and final delivery format. Send these 24–48 hours before the booking.
Do you provide voice talent or do I bring my own? add
Both. We have a multilingual talent pool on retainer (Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi) — or you can bring your own talent and use our booth and engineer. Per-talent rates are quoted upfront.
Can you help with script translation or adaptation? add
We don't do full translation in-house, but we partner with regional translators we trust. We can also review your existing translated script for lip-sync feasibility and suggest tweaks before recording.
Will you record an already-translated script? add
Yes — that's the most common scenario. Send the translated script with line numbers, and we'll record line by line against the picture, adjusting timing where needed.
Do you handle lip-sync for character animation? add
Yes — animation dubbing is a regular project type. We work both ways: matching pre-animated lip movement, or recording first so the animation can be timed to the take.
Can you dub Reels, Shorts, and TikTok videos? add
Absolutely. Short-form dubbing (under 60 seconds) is one of our most common bookings. Same-day delivery in most cases.
Do you work with ad agencies and large brands? add
Yes — agencies and brands form a significant chunk of our dubbing work. We can sign NDAs, work to brand spec sheets, and handle multi-language deliveries in parallel.
What file formats do I get? add
WAV (24-bit/48kHz) by default for editing. MP3, AAC, or platform-specific spec on request. Stems are delivered separated by character and language for easy editing.
How fast is turnaround? add
Short-form (under 2 minutes): same-day or next-day. Medium projects (2–10 minutes, single language): 2–3 days. Multi-language or long-form: 5–7 business days. Rush turnarounds available with a small surcharge.
How do I book a dubbing session? add
Send us your project brief on /contact or WhatsApp at +91 98765 43210. We respond within 2 hours during studio hours with a custom quote and proposed session schedule.
Are revisions or correction passes included? add
One round of corrections (lip-sync tweaks, pronunciation fixes, tone adjustments) is included in every dubbing project. Additional rounds are quoted per the scope.
I'm a first-time dubbing client — will you guide me? add
Yes. We walk you through each step — script formatting, timing planning, talent selection, recording etiquette, and delivery. About 35% of our dubbing clients are first-timers and they leave with publish-ready audio.
Can I sit in the control room during the session? add
Yes — we encourage it for first sessions. You can direct the talent, give feedback between takes, and approve performances in real time. Up to 3 additional people can join in the control room.
