WHAT'S INCLUDED

Clear Voice. Calm Booth.

Voice recording at Studio Smart One is built around comfort and clarity. Step into a treated booth, settle into the right mic, and let the engineer guide pacing, breath, and tone — so every read sounds natural.

You bring your script (or just your idea). We handle the technical side: setup, monitoring, multiple takes, light editing, and delivery in your preferred format. Beginners get extra coaching, professionals get a fast workflow — both leave with files ready to publish.

SESSION FLOW

Five Calm Steps. No Surprises.

From the moment you walk in to the moment your file lands in your inbox.

01 forum

Discuss Purpose & Format

A 5-minute pre-session chat: what is this voice for, what is the tone, what is the target platform? We align before the mic goes live.

02 tune

Booth & Mic Setup

You step into the booth, headphones on, mic positioned to your voice. Engineer dials gain and adjusts pop filter — you settle in with water.

03 record_voice_over

Record Takes

Read the script. Re-read sections that need more energy or different pacing. The engineer cues, paces, and catches stumbles in real time.

04 playlist_play

Listen & Refine

Quick playback together — flag any line that needs a re-take, fix pronunciations, lock the final reads.

05 cloud_upload

Export & Handoff

Light cleanup (silence, breath shaping) included. Final WAV/MP3 sent to your inbox or Drive — typically same-day.

THE VOICE BOOTH

A Space That Disappears

The best voice booths are the ones you forget you're in. Ours is acoustically silent, climate-controlled, and lit warmly — no echo, no AC hum, no street noise. Just your voice and the script.

volume_off

Total Sound Isolation

Decoupled walls and silent ventilation block all outside noise — Vesu traffic, AC hum, footsteps. Nothing reaches the mic.

mic

The Right Microphone

Broadcast-grade condenser for narration; warm dynamic for podcasts. The engineer chooses based on your voice.

lightbulb

Warm, Comfortable Lighting

Dimmable warm light keeps you relaxed during long reads. No fluorescent glare on the script.

air

Climate Comfort

Air circulation between takes only — never during recording. You stay cool without the AC ever appearing in your audio.

support_agent

Engineer in Earshot

You see and hear your engineer through the booth window. Direction comes through the headphones — feedback is instant.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Eight Small Things That Help

None of these are required. Each one makes the session smoother and the final read better.

description

Final Script Printed

A printed script reads cleaner than a phone screen. We can print yours on arrival if you forget.

translate

Pronunciation Notes

Mark difficult words, brand names, or foreign terms with a phonetic spelling. Saves re-takes.

speed

Pacing Reference

A note on words-per-minute target or 1–2 reference reads (links to YouTube/podcast clips work great).

water_drop

Hydration & Voice Care

Drink room-temperature water. Avoid dairy and very cold drinks 30 minutes before — both create mucus.

schedule

Arrive 10 Minutes Early

Time to settle, sip water, and warm up your voice before the recording clock starts.

volume_off

Phone on Silent

Vibrating phones leak into the mic. Silence completely or leave it in the control room.

lyrics

A Note on Tone & Emotion

One sentence describing the vibe — "warm and authoritative", "playful and quick", "calm and confident".

music_note

Background Music (If Any)

For ads or reels with bed music, share the music track 24 hours ahead so we can time-align.

favorite

Never voice-recorded before?

Don't worry about technique — that's what your engineer is for. Show up with the script and a willingness to read it out loud. We handle pacing, breath, and tone direction throughout the session.

Voice Recording FAQs

Is this service different from Sound Recording? add
Yes. Sound Recording is broader — singers, instruments, multi-mic ensembles. Voice Recording is focused on spoken-word: podcasts, narration, voiceovers, ad reads, audiobooks. Different mic setups, different pacing, different room behavior.
I've never recorded my voice professionally. Will I sound bad? add
No — that's exactly what your engineer is for. They guide pacing, breath, and tone in real time. About 40% of our voice bookings are first-timers and they leave with publish-ready audio.
Do you provide script writing or editing? add
No. Bring your own script. We can offer light tweaks for clarity in the booth (replacing tongue-twister words, breaking up long sentences) but copywriting is not part of the service.
How many takes can I do? add
As many as your booked time allows. There is no per-take limit. We typically recommend 2–3 reads per section, then comp the strongest moments together.
Can you record in Hindi, English, Gujarati, or other languages? add
Yes — we work in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, and 6+ additional languages. Native voice talent is available on retainer if you need a different voice for a project.
Are podcast and voice-over sessions both supported? add
Yes — same booth, slightly different mic and processing chain. We adjust setup based on what you tell us during the pre-session brief.
What files do I get? In what format? add
WAV (24-bit, 48kHz) for broadcast and MP3 (320kbps) for quick sharing. Other formats (AAC, FLAC, AIFF) on request. Files arrive same-day in your inbox or Drive.
Is editing included? add
Light cleanup is included — silence trimming, breath shaping, level normalization. Heavy editing (filler word removal, podcast assembly with music beds) is offered as an add-on at a per-episode rate.
How long should I book for? add
A 30-minute podcast: 1.5 hours. A 5-minute ad: 1 hour. An audiobook chapter (30 min final): 2–3 hours. We over-estimate your first session by 30 minutes for buffer — better safe than rushed.
How fast is turnaround? add
Same-day for most voice sessions — files in your inbox before you leave Vesu. Heavy edit work (full podcast post-production) takes 2–3 business days.
Can I reschedule? add
Yes — rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the session. Within 24 hours, a 25% slot fee applies.
How do I book? add
Pick a slot on /book-studio, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 98765 43210. New bookings are confirmed within an hour during studio hours.
Can I record voice for Reels, Shorts, and TikToks here? add
Absolutely. Short-form spoken voice is one of our most common bookings now — usually a 30–45 minute session captures 8–12 short reads. Same-day delivery.
Will my voice work for an ad / podcast / narration project? add
Yes — the engineer adjusts the chain to flatter your natural tone. Warm voices get one mic, brighter voices another. We never ask you to "try to sound different."
