The rules of the room

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of studiosmartone.in (the "Site"), the booking system, music production / recording / dubbing / voice / mixing / mastering services, the Studio Smart One Academy, and any other facility, content, or program offered by Studio Smart One ("we", "our", "the studio"), operating from Vesu, Surat, Gujarat, India.

Please read these Terms carefully. They are a binding agreement between you and Studio Smart One. Use of the Site or any of our services constitutes acceptance.

By accessing the Site, creating an account, booking a session, enrolling in an academy program, or otherwise engaging with our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age, or are using the Site with the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has accepted these Terms on your behalf.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• You agree to abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must stop using the Site and our services.

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and good-faith purposes connected to engaging the studio's services. You agree not to:

• Probe, scan, or test for vulnerabilities of the Site or any related infrastructure without our express written consent.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or any security feature.
• Scrape, crawl, or duplicate Site content for resale or for training third-party AI systems without our written permission.
• Upload malware, scripts, or any code that could disrupt the Site or its users.
• Use the Site in any way that violates Indian law or any applicable foreign law that governs your conduct.

We may suspend or revoke access at any time for violations.

Studio Smart One offers paid studio services including music production, sound recording, voice recording, dubbing, mixing, mastering, studio rental, and academy programs. Public starting-from prices are indicative; the exact amount for your session is confirmed in writing before the session begins.

Slot reservation

Submitting a request softly holds the chosen slot for 48 hours while the studio reviews. A booking becomes confirmed only when the studio explicitly confirms the request by email and WhatsApp. No money changes hands during this stage.

Session scope

The booked duration covers room time and engineer time. Setup, teardown, and overruns are charged at the same hourly rate, rounded to the nearest 30 minutes, and settled offline at the studio.

Eligibility

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking that we reasonably believe to involve illegal content, hate speech, defamation, or material that violates third-party rights.

No online payment. The website does not accept money. Booking requests submitted here are reviewed manually by the studio.

Payment happens offline. Once the studio confirms your request, the agreed session fee is settled in person at the studio — by UPI, card, cash, or bank transfer at our discretion.

Pricing is indicative. Public starting-from rates on service pages are estimates. The exact amount for your session is confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) before the session starts.

Invoicing. A GST invoice is emailed within 24 hours of session completion when requested. Provide your GSTIN at the time of booking confirmation if you need it on the invoice.

Free reschedule, more than 48 hours before the session. One free reschedule per booking; subject to slot availability.

Inside 48 hours. Late cancellations and no-shows are flagged on your account. No money is charged because no money has been collected on the website. Three or more no-shows in 12 months may cause future requests to be deprioritised at studio discretion.

Studio-initiated cancellations. If the studio cancels for any reason you receive priority rescheduling for a slot of equivalent value — no payment was held, so no refund is required.

Force majeure. Severe weather, citywide outages, illness with proof, and similar events qualify for a free reschedule beyond the standard window.

You may use the Site as a guest or with a registered account. If you create an account:

• Provide accurate, current information.
• Keep your password confidential. We hash passwords with bcrypt; we never see them and cannot recover them — only reset them.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at info@studiosmartone.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend accounts that show signs of fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

Two principles, kept simple:

Your work is yours

Recordings, mixes, masters, productions, and any creative outputs delivered to you under a paid session are owned by you (or your label/client, if you have an upstream agreement). We claim no ownership over your masters or compositions unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Our work is ours

The Site, brand name, logo, written content, photography, code, and curriculum are owned by Studio Smart One or licensed for our use. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing of public articles or social posts is welcome.

Studio credit and portfolio use

Unless you opt out in writing before the session, we may include short, non-explicit excerpts of your work in our portfolio, social channels, and academy materials, with credit to you. Opting out is free and never affects your service.

The studio is a working professional environment. While on premises:

• Arrive on time. Late arrivals reduce session length and are not refundable.
• No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances on premises.
• No outside food or beverages in the recording rooms.
• Treat engineers, runners, instructors, and other artists with respect.
• Handle equipment carefully. Cost of any damage caused by negligence will be billed to the client.
• We reserve the right to terminate a session immediately, without refund, for harassment, threats, or any conduct that endangers staff or other clients.
• Recording or photographing other clients without consent is not permitted.

The Site may include links or embeds to third-party services such as Google Maps, social platforms, or partner studios. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

The Site and our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required under Indian law. We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Any specific result will be achieved by attending an academy course, hiring our engineers, or releasing a track produced at our studio.
• Any tool, plugin, or third-party software available on our systems is fit for a specific creative purpose.

We exercise commercially reasonable care in delivering services and remain responsible for any negligence on our part to the extent required by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Studio Smart One, its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Site or services.
• Loss, damage, or theft of personal property brought to the studio — please carry only what you need.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms or out of any single booking is limited to the amount you paid for that specific booking. Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may stop using the Site at any time and request account deletion by writing to info@studiosmartone.in. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, fraud, or any conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to the studio, our team, or our clients.

Termination does not affect bookings already paid for, refund obligations already due, or sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and, where you have an account, communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The version number and last-updated date at the top of this page always reflect the current revision.

Continued use of the Site or our services after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Older versions are kept on file and available on request.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Surat, Gujarat.
