ENGINEER + TREATED ROOM

WHAT WE CAPTURE

Pristine Capture. Engineer-Run Room.

Sound recording at Studio Smart One means a treated, isolated space, broadcast-grade microphones, and an in-house engineer running mic placement, gain staging, and signal flow — so you can focus entirely on the take.

Whether it's a vocal session, a podcast episode, or a single instrument capture, every recording leaves the room with clean stems, ready for mixing — by us or anyone else.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Recording FAQs

How long should I book for my first session? add
Two hours minimum. For a single song with vocals, we usually recommend 3–4 hours so there's time for setup, multiple takes, and a comp listen-through without rushing.
What should I bring to the session? add
Lyrics or script printed, your instrumental/backing track sent in advance, 2–3 reference tracks, and a water bottle. We provide everything else — mics, headphones, cables, even tea and coffee.
I've never recorded in a studio. Will you take me seriously? add
Yes — about 30% of our bookings are first-time recorders. The engineer walks you through every step, picks the right mic for your voice, and adjusts pace based on your comfort. No judgement.
How many takes can I do? add
As many as your booked time allows. There's no per-take limit. We recommend 3–5 full takes of each section, then comping the best moments together for the final.
Is an engineer included or do I run the session myself? add
An in-house engineer is included on every booking. You don't need to know how to use the DAW — your engineer drives Pro Tools while you focus on performing.
How do I get my files after the session? add
WAV multitrack stems are uploaded to a shared Google Drive or sent via WeTransfer the same day. You can also bring your own external drive and walk out with files in hand.
Are revisions included? add
For recording-only bookings: revisions don't apply (recording is what it is). If you book a full mixing/mastering bundle alongside, two revision rounds are included for the mix.
How do I book a session? add
Choose a slot on /book-studio, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 98765 43210. Most bookings are confirmed within an hour during studio hours.
How does payment work? add
No payment is taken on the website. Submitting a request reserves the slot softly while the studio reviews it. Once confirmed, the agreed fee is settled in person at the studio — UPI, card, cash, or bank transfer.
Can I reschedule if something comes up? add
Yes — free reschedule any time more than 48 hours before the session. Inside 48 hours, late cancels are flagged on your account; no money is charged because no money has been collected.
Do you record songs and podcasts in the same room? add
Yes — the room is set up for both. For multi-host podcasts, we use multiple matched mics. For songs, we typically use a single large-diaphragm condenser. Same booking, different chain.
Can I bring friends or my producer to the session? add
Up to 3 additional people can sit in the control room. Just let us know in advance so we can plan seating and the headphone count.
